The course day The Communication Foundation

Occasionally, I get a full day with a room full of people, and it's amazing to have the time to go deep. This is certainly possible within the topics I lecture and hold workshops on.

But thanks to 15 years of human fascination, I have also developed a very special course day called The Communication Foundation. It’s a day where we dive deep into what communication fundamentally is and what people are in relation to each other - at work, in leisure, and in private life. But it takes time to work on, as over the years (in my opinion), we’ve gotten the concept of communication all wrong.

The course is based on ten ways to understand other people (and yourself). When I held it for the first time, one participant told me that by the time I had reached number 2 on the list, it was the first time her shoulders completely relaxed in relation to dealing with other people.

I was very happy to hear that. Because, after all, sharing work or life with other people shouldn't lead to tension. But that's often what happens, despite having learned various tools and methods to improve communication.

All these tools are great, but they don't work if the foundation isn't in place.

The Communication Foundation is occasionally offered as an open course, but it can also be booked for delivery within a specific department or organization. While the course is based on a solid theoretical and philosophical foundation, absolutely everyone can participate, as everyone has life experience with communication.

I’m happy to share more about the course content, but unlike my lectures, workshops, and other full-day events, this is not a tailored arrangement. The Communication Foundation has its fixed content, and I have developed it to be exactly the course day I most want to deliver. However, there is, of course, flexibility regarding the duration of the course day.
